How soon do you see results from excercise? Such as running on a treadmill?

Just wondering.
I am going to try to run on a treadmill for 30 min or ride an excercise bike for 30 min about 4-5 times per week.
Would I see any little results within a week, if I am also dieting?
If not, how long does it take to start to be less jiggly?
