Im getting an exercise bike, and I was wondering if it will give the same results as a treadmill? I plan on using the weight loss level for the bike and make it so its like a hill climb type. If I do this for 30 minutes everyday what will my results be?

I’m not fat, I’m 16, exactly just abit taller than average height and im 63 kilos. I’m wondering if running on the treadmill for 45 minutes a day makes you lose weight? Also, what muscles do you gain (leg muscles, abes etc..)??

I need to lose 60 pounds to be my ideal weight- I use the treadmill quite often, but am losing weight as a snails pace- Friends told me elliptical machines are actually better weight burning exercises than treadmills- Is this true?
