its always better to run on the terrain that you will be racing or in your case playing on. so run on the grass outside so you legs get the muscle memory for that terrain that way and you&#039;ll be used to the cold/wind .</description>

		<description>Running on a treadmill will definitely give you better endurance. But it will not make you faster.  Running on a treadmill/ running long-distance improves your slow twitch muscles.  Slow twitch muscles is the muscle that controls ones overall strength, the muscle that controls one&#039;s repetition and abililty to keep going.  (lifting weights also improves your slow twitch)  What makes you faster (in like top speed and acceleration) is improving your fast-twitch muscles, which control one&#039;s explosion and quickness.  Jumping and starting from a stop and foot quickness all depend on your fast-twitch muscle.  
So in short, running on the treadmill will improve your muscular endurance and endurance running (maybe your mile time), but it wont improve your quickness, explosion, or top speed.</description>
