I have a small home gym in the lower level of my home, everything is fine except for the sweat smell from the treadmill, no odors from weight machine or nordic track. I’ve tried cleaning with Lysol and several other odor eliminators and nothing works. Help !

Try Sodium Bicarbonate with water. Soak it for a while and with a little lestoil.

Spray with vinegar. Try the white distilled type.

Try washing it down with a mixture of water and vinegar. I used to play sports alot when I was a kid and my sneakers stunk pretty bad and my mom told me to use this and it really worked great. It worked so well that I used it in my gym locker once a week at school. The gym teacher finally had the janitor do this in all the lockers once a week and the locker room smelled alot better. Give this a try and you will see an improvement.

Use a spray made of 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar and spray it, then just let it sit a while then you can wipe it off.Or just spray and let it dry on there with a fan blowing on it.When the spray dries, the smell of the vinegar will leave also—the sweat smell will vanish with it…….
