I feel like I really will use it, but I hear all the time about how people buy a treadmill and a few months later its in the basement gathering dust or in the corner of the room with books stacked on it. Is there anyone out there that continues to use their treadmill on a regular basis? How do you stay motivated?

You should think about buying an elliptical trainer – they’re much better, in my opinion. I go to a gym and use the elliptical there, so I can’t really comment on owning a treadmill at home. As for staying motivated – your just have to keep your eye on the prize – there is not really any secret to it. At least, not that I have found.

I suggest u dont buy one, my brother bought a 4,500 landice, it now rotts in the garage. With that money u could join a gym for 20 years. Besides they have treadmills and loads of other machines, please dont waste ur money. Also in a gym, you will meet people.

I love my treadmill. When I bought mine I started working with a personal trainer, and after I got used to it, they made me a workout plan, that I stuck to. I lost 40 lbs, and now weigh less than I did in high school! Now I am a personal trainer and use that same method with my clients!

Your best bet is to join a gym and use their heavy duty treadmills. You won’t have to buy one or maintain it. It is best to get out of the house to work out. When you are at home -you may not take working out as seriously or you may focus on things that you need to get done. You can meet friends at a gym and you can motivate each other.
