I am planning to buy a treadmill soon. I have about 35 – 40 lbs to shed. I wanted to know how much I can lose and how much time it will take?

The results you will see will be a direct reflection of the effort you put into it.

That depends on what you weigh now, how fast your metabolism works, how long you plan to use your treadmill and how frequently, and at what pace.

To lose weight you have to burn more calories than you consume. Eat right and exercise 5 days a week for at least an hour a day, and you should see some good results.

It’s typically recommended not to lose more than 2 – 3 lbs per week (4 max) to increase the chances of you keeping the weight off long term. The faster you lose, the more likely you are to put it back on.

    Good luck!

It does tell you how many calories you burn, so you might as well tally it up every week. And see where that takes you.

It’s good for cardiovascular, but there’s noting about lose weight. You should have a diet too.
It’s my experience, I worked out 5 days in week on a treadmill, but I didn’t control yourself on food. I gained my weight.
Now I’m dieting and I’m losing weight.

    Good luck
