I agree 100%. Lunges not only work your hips, thighs and glutes-but also decrease the appearance of cellulite. I see a dramatic difference from when I am consistenly doing lunges and when I stop. I usually do 40 every couple days w/ weight; in intervals of 10 on each leg. Start with much less, and small weight and work your way up. FYI-you will be VERY sore when you first begin!

Elliptical will work well but adding some other cross-training woulb be good if you want to target the hips/thighs. You might try adding in sets of lunges while holding 5 to 10 lb. weights. It's a great "functional" evercise that will get your heart rate up and target core muscles as well as glutes and thighs.....just make sure when your lung is really long so that you knee does not go out over your ankle....it's hard on the knees..Best of luck to you!
