I’ve been wanting a treadmill for a long time but I was thinking why waste that money if running in place is just as good as running on a treadmill.
But then running in place is boring! lol The treadmill makes it less boring.

My treadmill is broken so I just go jogging around. The problem is treadmills take up a lot of space and are kinda expensive.

GO SWIMMING OR PLAYER SOCCER OR PLAY BADMINTON OR WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT!!!!
Running in place your not acualy treading so it really wouldn’t do anything. The treadmill would be way better then
A treadmill is definitely better than running in place. As you have said, it is less boring and it will allow you to have a more natural gait than when running in place, making it easier for you to increase your pace and duration when youwork out. Of course, you do have to spend money for it, but it will be worth it if you do use it.
My mom was thinking the same thing. So I’m gonna tell you what I told her. Treadmills cost a lot and take up lots of room unless you got a basement. Jogging around the neighborhood is good workout. My mom carrys around ten pound weights in each hand while she walks around the neighborhood. She went from 140 to 130 in like a month. Its progress and she hasnt stopped yet. So just go out and try this. Maybe join a fitness club they can be cheaper that paying thousands for a useless machine.
Treadmill is better but how is running on a treadmill not as boring as running in place both you are staying in the same place.
Lol running in place is boring but if u spot jog u burn more calories. Treadmill running is good but seriously going out on tracks is ideal, or go run on the road, parks etc thats more fun, go on a playground running on treadmill too much is not good for knee.
I’ll say get some skipping rope and do skipping instead thats the best workout if u want to burn calories and also gain maximum stamina.
