I want to get faster and am using a treadmill. Should I run fast for a short time or long time. Also, can doing squats get you faster?

    I would say bring up the speed one by one. Then you’ll get used to it. That’s what I do at the gym. & I would think that squats make your legs stronger which in return would make you run faster.

    Run fast for a short time to gain speed, and slower for a long time to burn fat. Squats aren’t necessary for either.

    Start with slow pace and then try to increase speed as per your capacity.Sudden speed can ruin your health
