		<description>Your house doesn&#039;t have enough humidity in the air.   If you have central heating with a humidity setting, set it higher, otherwise get a portable humidifier and keep it running for a while before you start exercising.

Any time you have friction, you could have a buildup of static electricity.</description>

		<description>I assume you do not get a shock just touching the treadmill when it is on but only after you run on it....then it is static electricity...live with it, heumidify your house...if the former check out the wiring sounds like a poor ground wire.</description>
