Why does my puppy **** on the treadmill?

He’s a 5 month old boxer. He’s been fully treadmill trained for about 3 weeks now,but the last two times he was on the treadmill he pooped. (don’t worry, i dont work him hard at all, just a jog)

    2 things. if he’s going on the treadmill, then you ARE working him too hard.

    2nd. you have to let him digest and go to the bathroom before you put him on the treadmill.

    I have also treadmill trained my dog, he went on it one time when i tried to push his limits. I’ve adjusted and no more accidents occur.

    Maybe he doesn’t want to be on the treadmill, or you are working him too hard.

    My dog was house trained, but anytime he would get upset he would **** in the house by the steps. They can’t talk, I guess that’s their way of communicating.
