I need to loss 130 pounds by September 03, 2010. Can someone please tell me will a treadmill help me loss more weight than an exercise bike?

    Treadmill will burn a lot more calories, but it will be a lot harder.

    If you can do it, swimming is much more effective and much easier for burning calories (which leads to weight loss).

    I would say treadmill because it’s faster and you get more workout. But riding a bike gives you more endurance and fresh air.

    they both will loose the desired weight. if you have troubles with your weight bearing joints such as hips, knees, ankles i would suggest a non weight bearing exercise such as bike first. you will need to exercise at your target rate for 30 continuous minutes. the more muscles you are using the more weight you will loose during your aerobic exercise.the best time to work out is right away in the morning and the toughest part of exercising is putting your shoes on.
