		<description>Losing weight isn&#039;t just about exercising.  It&#039;s about eating less calories than your body burns.  Yes, exercise is important, but not if you &#039;reward&#039; yourself by eating a box of doughnuts!

And if you are going to cut down on your eating, you must do it intelligently.  If you cut down too much, your body goes into famine mode, where it slows your metabolism because it thinks that it has to conserve while you are in some kind of nutrition hardship.  Also, you need to cut down on the right foods, such as processed sugars, bad fats, etc.

I would recommend talking to someone like a doctor or nutritionist, who can design a smart and effective plan for you, that includes reasonable exercise and a good diet.
